My dear Piper Hamisch had luxating patella as a puppy and had 2 surgeries before age 1. The veterinarian said Piper didn’t have a good groove in his leg bone so the patella couldn’t glide in this groove like normal. The vet made a groove in the leg bone and lots of suture. No problems ever since and he is now 11 years old. Thinking of you and Baxter. Marge Wheeler, Mt. Shasta, CA.
