The Hermitage, Dunkeld, Scotland

As part of our Weekend Walkies series on our Facebook Page, we’re going to add a Scampering Scotties series to our webpage. Today we are offering you a brief glimpse of this wondrous place called The Hermitage, near Dunkeld in Scotland. It was a truly magical walk, just me and the two boys, scampering through ancient woodland, which was also the site for the tallest tree at 212 ft – wow – and I walked straight passed it without noticing!

If you get the chance to visit Scotland, you won’t be let down by the scenery. The only disappointing thing though, is that you won’t see any Scottish Terriers, unless you take your own, or you are there at the same time as me and you just happen to be walking the same route!

We hope you enjoy this series of Scampering Scotties.

We’d love to share your walks too! It’s so nice seeing the places where you live and to see your scotties and other doggie companions enjoying themselves. And it’s great for our readers too, to share your walks. So, send your pictures, together with an article describing your walk to general@scottishterrierhealth.com and we’ll print it here.

Hope you are all having a great weekend.

  1. I am looking at your pics in awe!! My personal favorite is the pic of your adorable babies next to the “giant bird”! 😉 By the way, I am a new follower, so I can not wait to delve into your blog even further!

Our Scotties really do need to hear from you .....
