Muesli Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear
  • 100g (3½ oz) all purpose flour
  • 100g (3½ oz) coarse rolled oats
  • 75g (2½ oz) chopped hazelnuts
  • 1 tbs honey
  • 100g (3½ oz) cream
  • 50g (2oz) flax seeds

Roughly grate the apple and pear. Mix with the other ingredients, except for the flax seeds. With a tablespoon, take little portions of the dough and make roll shapes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with baking parchment.

Roll the muesli rols in the flax seeds, place them on the baking tray and flatten them. Bake for 30 minutes, then turn off the oven and let the rolls cool in the over. Store in a paper or linen bag. The muesli rolls will keep for about 3 weeks.
