You may want to pick up a can of ” Musher’s Secret. ” The best deal is the one-pound can available through Amazon for about $28.00. I was Mac’s feet after every walk and rub a tiny amount of Musher’s on each. It keeps his feet soft and pliable which MAY prevent problems associated with cracks, much like a person with chapped hands.
Our Izzy has over the past year suffered with cracks on her larger pad. I’ve been massaging a balm I found and it isn’t resilving the problem. Any other suggestions would be grateful. She is 7 years old and it even hurts me to watch her walking.
